Bank profitability is influenced by internal and external conditions. This study aims to analyze the effects of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), inflation, exchange rate, and problematic credit on profitability at Bank BTPN Syariah during 2021–2024, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach using 16 observations analyzed through multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that CAR has no significant effect on profitability, with a significance value of 0.111. Inflation has a positive and significant effect on profitability, with a significance value of 0.001. The exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on profitability, with a significance value of 0.004. Meanwhile, problematic credit has no significant effect on profitability, with a significance value of 0.227. Simultaneously, CAR, inflation, exchange rate, and problematic credit have a significant effect on profitability, with a significance value of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square of 88.7% indicates that the independent variables explain 88.7% of the variation in profitability. These findings highlight the importance of considering both internal banking conditions and macroeconomic dynamics in maintaining the profitability of Bank BTPN Syariah.
