Author Guidelines

Manuscript Preparation

Authors are required to prepare their manuscript in accordance with the following guidelines before submission. Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements may be returned without review.

Language

Manuscripts may be submitted and published in either English or Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia). Authors are encouraged to choose the language in which they can best express their research. Regardless of the language chosen, authors are strongly encouraged to have their manuscript carefully proofread for grammar, clarity, and consistency prior to submission. Authors writing in a non-native language are advised to seek assistance from a proficient speaker or a professional language editing service.

File Format

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format using the official manuscript template provided by the journal. PDF files are not accepted for initial submission. The template is available for download on the journal website in both English and Indonesian versions. Authors must use the appropriate template corresponding to the language of their manuscript.

Manuscript Structure

A complete manuscript should include the following sections in order:

  1. Title — Concise, informative, and no longer than 20 words.
  2. Abstract — Structured abstract of 150–250 words, covering: Background, Objective, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
  3. Keywords — 4 to 6 keywords, separated by semicolons.
  4. Introduction — Background, literature review, research gap, and objectives.
  5. Background Theory and Theoretical Foundation — Review of relevant prior studies, foundational theories, or conceptual frameworks that underpin the research.
  6. Method — Research design, data collection, and analysis procedures.
  7. Results — Findings presented clearly with tables or figures as appropriate.
  8. Discussion — Interpretation of results, comparison with prior work, and implications.
  9. Conclusion — Summary of key findings and future directions.
  10. Acknowledgements (if applicable) — Funding sources, contributors, and AI tool disclosure.
  11. References — Formatted according to APA 7th Edition.

Note: The Background Theory and Theoretical Foundation section may be merged with the Introduction if the authors find it more appropriate for the nature of their research.

Manuscript Length

Manuscripts should be between 4,000 and 8,000 words, excluding references. Manuscripts significantly outside this range may be returned for revision prior to review.

Figures and Tables

All figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and include descriptive captions. Figures should be submitted in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi). Tables must be editable and not submitted as images.

Citation and Reference Style

This journal uses the APA 7th Edition referencing style. All in-text citations must correspond to a full reference in the reference list. The use of a reference management tool (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote) is strongly recommended.
