Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of knowledge management and work environment on employee performance at the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of North Luwu Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach, with a population of 36 employees, which is also a sample through census techniques. Data was collected using a Google Form-based questionnaire with research variables including knowledge management and work environment as independent variables, as well as employee performance as dependent variables. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous) to test the hypothesis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-count value of 2,620 which is greater than the t-table of 1,692 and a p-value of 0.013 which is smaller than 0.05. In addition, the work environment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-count value of 5,059 which is greater than t-table 1,692 and a p-value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. The suggestions given are to strengthen the knowledge management system in the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office, such as improving the information sharing system, providing regular training, and encouraging more effective communication between employees to improve the understanding and skills of employees in carrying out their duties.
