Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of total investment and export value on the economy of Jambi Province. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The method applied is multiple linear regression analysis. The variables used include investment and export as independent variables, and the economy (measured by regional economic indicators) as the dependent variable. The results of the study show a simultaneous influence of investment and export on the economy of Jambi Province during the period 2013–2023. This is evidenced by the F-calculated value of 17.521, which is greater than the F-table value of 4.46, with a significance level of 0.01 < 0.05. The correlation coefficient (R) is 0.740, indicating a strong positive relationship. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.814, meaning that 81.4% of the variation in the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables, while the remaining 18.6% is influenced by other factors not included in the study.
