Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of employee retention, work motivation, and incentives on the performance of contract workers at PT. Perkebunan Teh Jayanegara Indah Sukabumi. The method used is a quantitative approach with an associative descriptive design. Data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 141 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that all three variables simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, incentives provided the most dominant influence with a regression coefficient of 0.734, followed by retention of 0.648 and work motivation of 0.485. The R² value of 0.635 indicates that the variables of retention, motivation, and incentives were able to explain 63.5% of the variation in contract workers' performance. This finding provides important implications that HR strategies focused on retention, motivation, and incentives can significantly increase employee productivity.
