Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employee competence, training, and structured mentoring on work effectiveness at the Energy and Mineral Resources Service of South Sumatra Province. The background of this study is based on the challenges faced by government agencies in addressing competency gaps, technological developments, and strict regulations, which require improvements in the quality of human resources. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey technique through a questionnaire distributed to employees of the relevant agency. The results indicate that the three independent variables employee competence, training, and structured mentoring have a significant influence on work effectiveness. These findings highlight the importance of investing in human resource development to increase productivity and achieve organizational goals. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of HR management policies in the government sector.
