Road infrastructure development in rural areas still faces various problems, such as limited transportation access, high distribution costs, and low community mobility, which impacts slow socioeconomic growth. This condition also occurs in Banding Agung Village, Suoh District, West Lampung Regency, which is characterized by mountainous areas with limited road access. This study aims to analyze the impact of road infrastructure development on socioeconomic changes in the community from an Islamic economic perspective. This study applies a qualitative approach conducted through field studies and further compiled from observations, interviews, and documentation. The existing findings indicate that road construction has a positive impact on increasing mobility, social interaction, and economic activities in the community, such as the distribution of agricultural products and the development of MSMEs. In addition, road construction can also reduce transportation costs and increase distribution efficiency. From an Islamic economic perspective, this development reflects the principles of welfare, justice, and welfare. Thus, road infrastructure development can have an impact on the economic aspect, while also contributing to the overall social welfare of the community (al-falah).
