Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of leverage, free cash flow, profitability, investment, and firm size on dividend policy in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the BEI during the period 2020-2023. The research population consist of food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2020-2023. A sample size of 19 companies was selected for analyze. This quantitative study employs purposive sampling methodology, followed by multiple linier regression analysis to examine the relationships between variables. The research utilizes hypothesis testing, comprising coefficient tests, significance tests, and classical assumption test. Secondary data are sourced from the Indonesioan Stock Exchange (IDX) official website. The research results show that leverage has no effect on dividend policy, free cash flow has a significant effect on dividend policy, profitability has no effect on dividend policy, investment has a significant effect on dividend policy, and company size has a significant effect on dividend policy.
