Analisis Sektor Basis dan Non Basis terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Wilayah Malang Raya dengan Metode Location Quotient, Dynamic LQ, Shift Share, dan Tipologi Klassen
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengangkat topik mengenai pengelompokkan sektor potensial di Malang Raya melalui penerapan pendekatan uji deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto berdasarkan harga konstan tahun 2017-2021 sebagai data dalam pengkajian ini. Model perhitungan yang digunakan ialah metode kajian Location Quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient, Shift Share, dan Tipologi Klassen. Menurut hasil kajian keempat model yang digunakan, diketahui terdapat sektor dengan potensi unggul diantara 17 sektor ekonomi yang ada yakni Sektor Informasi dan Komunikasi, dan Sektor Jasa Kesehatan dan Kegiatan Sosial yang dinilai mampu mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah setempat serta ditingkat provinsi. Melalui pengkajian ini diharapkan pemerintah dapat lebih memperhatikan secara optimal sektor potensial maupun sektor ekonomi yang dianggap belum unggul agar terciptanya keseimbangan ekonomi dan tidak selalu bergantung pada sektor tertentu. Tujuannya agar seluruh sektor mampu memberikan kontribusi penuh terhadap proses pembangunan daerah maupun nasional yang didasarkan pada kebijakan dalam perencanaan proses pembangunan guna meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi serta taraf hidup masyarakat sebagai wujud keberhasilan pembangunan daerah yang lebih baik.
