This study is motivated by the importance of bank soundness indicators in influencing stock price movements in the banking sector. The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Non- Performing Loan (NPL) on the stock prices of state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020-2024 period. This study employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis. The sample consists of four state-owned banks selected through purposive sampling. The regression model applied in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM).The results show that simultaneously CAR, LDR, and NPL have a significant effect on stock prices. Partially, CAR has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, while LDR and NPL have negative and significant effects on stock prices. These findings indicate that higher capital adequacy increases investor confidence, whereas higher liquidity risk and credit risk tend to reduce investor interest in banking stocks. In conclusion, bank soundness ratios play an important role in determining stock price movements. Therefore, investors should consider capital adequacy, liquidity, and credit quality in making investment decisions in the banking sector.
