Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) funded by Village Funds in alleviating poverty in Salama Village, Sabbang Subdistrict, North Luwu Regency. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing descriptive methods and simple regression analysis. Data were gathered through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to 40 household heads who received BLT over the past three years. The findings reveal that the effectiveness of the Village Fund BLT significantly impacts poverty reduction, with a regression coefficient of 0.622 and a significance level of 0.001 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 52.1% indicates that over half of the variation in poverty alleviation can be explained by the effectiveness of the BLT program. The assessed effectiveness indicators include targeting accuracy, timeliness, and income improvement. In conclusion, the Village Fund BLT program is proven to be effective in reducing poverty in Salama Village.
