This study aims to analyze the influence of government subsidies and the availability of charging infrastructure on the decision to purchase electric cars in Karawang City. The background of this study is based on the Indonesian government's efforts to encourage the transition to low-emission transportation through various fiscal policies and the development of supporting infrastructure for electric vehicles. Using a quantitative approach, primary data was collected from 204 respondents through a Likert scale questionnaire. The analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, as well as classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that neither government subsidies nor the availability of charging infrastructure have a significant influence, either partially or simultaneously, on the decision to purchase electric vehicles in Karawang. These findings suggest that other factors, such as vehicle prices, purchasing power, and technological literacy, are likely more dominant in influencing consumer decisions. This study recommends the need for an integrated strategy encompassing economic, technical, and educational aspects to enhance the adoption of electric vehicles in industrial areas.
