Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of information technology utilization on employee performance at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of East Kalimantan Province. The research method employed a quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to the entire employee population (68 respondents). The results show that the use of information technology has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a determination coefficient of 54.6%. The study concludes that optimizing the use of information technology can improve employee performance. The implications suggest the need to develop IT infrastructure and training to enhance employees' capability in utilizing information systems.
