Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan bukti empiris bahwa pengetahuan anggaran akan mempengaruhi dewan dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah, memberikan bukti empiris bahwa akuntabilitas akan mempengaruhi hubungan antara pengetahuan anggaran dengan pengawasan keuangan daerah, memberikan bukti empiris bahwa partisipasi masyarakat akan mempengaruhi hubungan antara pengetahuan anggaran dengan pengawasan keuangan daerah, memberikan bukti empiris bahwa transparansi kebijakan
publik akan mempengaruhi hubungan antara pengetahuan anggaran dengan pengawasan keuangan daerah. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh akuntabilitas, partisipasi masyarakat, dan transparansi kebijakan publik terhadap hubungan antara pengetahuan penganggaran dan pengendalian penganggaran. Sampel penelitian berasal dari DPRK Banda Aceh. Tiga puluh legislatif berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hipotesis tersebut di rasakan dengan menggunakan regresi secara empiris.
