Perpustakaan SMK-SMTI Negeri Banda Aceh merupakan sebuah lembaga yang memerlukan pengelolaan dan penyusunan buku yang baik dan teratur. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem penataan buku yang efektif dan efisien untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam mencari dan meminjam buku. Artikel ini membahas tentang sistem penataan buku pada perpustakaan SMK-SMTI Negeri Banda Aceh serta hubungannya dengan teknologi komputer. Sistem ini meliputi klasifikasi, pengindeksan, dan pengaturan buku berdasarkan jenis dan topik. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan akan meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi kerja pegawai perpustakaan dalam mengelola buku serta mempermudah pengguna dalam mencari dan meminjam buku. Teknologi komputer dapat digunakan untuk mempercepat proses pencarian dan peminjaman buku, seperti menggunakan perangkat lunak manajemen perpustakaan. Teknologi komputer juga dapat membantu dalam pemeliharaan arsip buku, serta dapat memfasilitasi pengguna dalam menemukan informasi terkait buku yang dicari melalui sistem pencarian online.
