Penelitian untuk mengetahui Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan profesionalitas guru di Sekeolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Taman Fajar (SMKN Taman Fajar) Aceh Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, SMKN Taman Fajar Aceh Timur. Subyek penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, informan adalah Waka sekolah serta tenaga pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumenasi. Analisa data dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah mengembangkan profesionalitas guru dengan: (a) Perencanaan jangka panjang, tahunan, analisis SWOT (b) Penyusunan struktur organisasi sekolah (c) Penggerakkan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik dengan kegiatan rapat koodinasi rutin, pendampingan penyusunan administrasi pembelajaran, workshop serta KKG.
