Due to the overwhelming response and the remarkably high number of manuscripts received for Volume 6, Number 2 — August 2026, featuring the special theme "The Role of Computing Technology in the FIFA World Cup 2026™: Data, Intelligence, and Digital Innovation in Modern Football", we hereby announce that:
Submissions for Volume 6, Number 2 — August 2026 are now officially closed ahead of the originally scheduled deadline.
Please be informed that the submission portal on our OJS website has been deactivated effective immediately. Authors will no longer be able to submit new manuscripts for this edition through the system.
For authors who have already submitted their manuscripts, your submission will continue to be processed and proceed to the review stage as scheduled. Authors are kindly requested to prepare for potential revision requests and to respond to reviewer comments in a timely manner, so that the publication process may proceed according to the planned timeline. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this early closure and hope that this decision is met with understanding.
