Announcement of the Closure of Article Submissions for 2026
Dear Esteemed Authors and Researchers,
The Editorial Board of the International Journal of Software Engineering and Computer Science (IJSECS) hereby announces that the submission of articles/manuscripts for the 2026 publication year will be officially closed through the OJS system on August 30, 2026. This closure applies to all types of submissions, including the Special Theme Track and General Topics, particularly submissions intended for Volume 6, Number 3, December 2026.
Status of Submitted Manuscripts
Manuscripts that have been successfully submitted on or before August 30, 2026, will continue to be processed according to the editorial procedures of IJSECS. All manuscripts already submitted through the system will proceed through the initial editorial screening, peer-review process by assigned reviewers, revision stage if required, and final editorial decision based on the evaluation results and publication eligibility. The peer-review process for submitted manuscripts will continue until the time determined by the Editorial Team.
Publication Process for Volume 6, Number 2, August 2026
The Editorial Team also informs that IJSECS Volume 6, Number 2, August 2026 is currently in the publication process. The finalization of articles, arrangement of issue contents, metadata checking, and online publication will be carried out gradually until the end of August 2026. Authors whose articles have been accepted for this issue are encouraged to monitor official information and communication through the OJS system and their registered email addresses.
Publication of Accepted Articles
Manuscripts that have been accepted will be published gradually under the In Press / Online First scheme. Articles that have fulfilled all editorial and administrative requirements will be made available online starting in October 2026, following the production queue, document completeness, and the publication schedule determined by the journal. The official publication of the related issue will be compiled in Volume 6, Number 3, December 2026.
The Editorial Board would like to express its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all authors, researchers, academics, practitioners, and developers who have entrusted their scholarly works to the International Journal of Software Engineering and Computer Science (IJSECS) throughout 2026.
