Journal System Upgrade, New Publication Standards, and Editorial/Reviewer Team Restructuring
Dear Editorial Board Members, Reviewers, Authors, and Researchers,
We are pleased to announce that the system upgrade to Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 3.5.0-5, technical configuration optimization, and web interface redesign across all journals managed under Lembaga KITA have been successfully completed. The journal portal is now fully operational for new manuscript submissions, peer-review processes, editorial management, and access to published articles.
This comprehensive update is designed to deliver a lighter, more responsive user interface while aligning our publication governance with the latest National Scientific Journal Accreditation Standards based on the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology No. 374/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, as well as global publication ethics guidelines referring to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) standard.
1. Affiliation Metadata Standardization (ROR), ORCID, and Submission Requirements
Our journal system is now integrated with the international databases Research Organization Registry (ROR) and ORCID to ensure accurate citation tracking and institutional research recognition across global indexing platforms (Crossref, DOAJ, OpenAlex, and Dimensions). All journals enforce the following shared standards:
- Format and Peer Review: Manuscripts must be submitted in editable Microsoft Word format and are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process. Every author and co-author is required to select an institutional affiliation linked to an official ROR ID and connect their ORCID iD.
- Four Mandatory Transparency Statements: In accordance with COPE standards and the latest accreditation regulations, every manuscript must include: (1) An Author Contributions statement based on the CRediT taxonomy, (2) An Artificial Intelligence (AI Disclosure) statement, (3) A Funding statement, and (4) A Conflict of Interest statement.
- License and Article Processing Charges (APC): Published articles are assigned a permanent DOI via Crossref under a CC BY 4.0 license. Manuscript submission and peer-review processes remain free of charge. Details regarding adjusted Article Processing Charges (APC)—which are payable only after a manuscript is officially accepted—can be accessed transparently via the Author Fees menu.
2. Release Schedule for the 2027 Manuscript Template
The latest official manuscript template for the 2027 publication period will be embedded on the journal website in December 2026. Transitional provisions for new submissions as well as manuscripts currently under review will be communicated in a separate announcement. During this transition period, authors should continue using the currently available official template and follow the Author Guidelines of the respective journal.
3. Restructuring and Recruitment of Editorial Board & Reviewers for the 2027 Period
Over the next 20 days (until November 20, 2026), the Editorial Team will continue conducting structural adjustments and data updates on the Editorial Board and Reviewers pages. Concurrently, we invite qualified academics and researchers to join our journal management team for the 2027 publication period.
New Editor & Reviewer Registration (2027 Period): Academics and researchers interested in serving as Editorial Board Members or Reviewers for the 2027 term are invited to apply by December 10, 2026 via the following link:

4. Profile Updates and Technical Support
We kindly ask all users to review and update their OJS profile and author metadata, monitor editorial notifications regularly, and keep backup copies of all submission files. Should you experience any technical issues related to account access, file uploads, page display, or notifications during this adjustment period, please contact us through the Contact page along with your Submission ID (if applicable) and a brief description of the issue.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and continued contribution in upholding the quality and integrity of scientific publishing with us.
Sincerely,
Editorial Team
