Author Guidelines
Lembaga Komunitas Informasi Teknologi Aceh (KITA) welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and community engagement papers across our 11 scholarly journals. Before submitting, authors are expected to adhere to the following publisher-wide preparation and submission standards.
- Aim & Scope Alignment: Ensure your manuscript aligns with the disciplinary focus of the target journal (IT & Computer Science, Economics & Management, Education, Community Service, or Multidisciplinary).
- Language Policy: International journals (such as IJSECS, IJMSIT, IJECS, and TIHER) require manuscripts in English, while national journals accept manuscripts in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
- Journal Template: Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word (
.docx) or OpenOffice/RTF format using the official template provided on the target journal's website. - Standard Structure: Articles should include a concise Title, Abstract (150–250 words), Keywords (3–5 terms), Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
- Reference Management: Citations and bibliography must be formatted consistently using a reference manager such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote (typically APA 7th Edition or IEEE, depending on the journal).
- Originality & Similarity Check: Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions undergo Turnitin/iThenticate similarity screening (maximum tolerance typically 20%).
- Peer Review Process: Every manuscript that passes initial editorial screening is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers under a Double-Blind Peer Review process.
- Complete Author Profiles: All co-authors must be entered into the OJS system during submission with accurate full names (without academic titles), institutional affiliations, countries, and active email addresses.
- ORCID iD: Authors are strongly encouraged to link their authenticated ORCID iD to ensure accurate global citation indexing via Crossref and Google Scholar.
- Open Access & Copyright: Published articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).
