Main Content

The names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, and other personal information entered in the Lembaga Komunitas Informasi Teknologi Aceh (KITA) journal portal will be used exclusively for the stated scholarly publishing purposes of this portal and its hosted journals. Personal data will not be made available for any other purpose or shared with unauthorized third parties.

1. Data Collection & Scholarly Indexing

We collect essential user profile and submission metadata required to manage manuscript submissions, conduct peer review, and publish scholarly articles. For accepted manuscripts, author metadata (names, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, and corresponding email addresses) form part of the permanent scholarly record and are distributed to indexing, abstracting, and digital preservation services (such as Crossref, Google Scholar, SINTA, Garuda, and DOAJ) under the applicable open-access license (CC BY-SA 4.0).

2. Peer Review Confidentiality & AI Privacy Protection

All unpublished manuscripts and peer-review records are treated as strictly confidential documents. In alignment with COPE ethical standards, editors and reviewers are strictly prohibited from uploading unpublished manuscript files, figures, or author data into public generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, as doing so breaches author privacy, data security, and copyright.

3. Cookies, System Logs & Data Security

This Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform uses essential session cookies to authenticate registered users and maintain secure navigation across journals. Anonymized server logs and article usage metrics (views and downloads) are recorded solely for editorial reporting and scholarly impact statistics. Registered users may view, update, or correct their personal profile and notification preferences at any time through their account dashboard.
