Portal FAQ
Find quick answers to common questions regarding account management, manuscript submission, peer review workflows, and publication policies across the 11 scholarly journals hosted on the Lembaga Komunitas Informasi Teknologi Aceh (KITA) portal.
- Do I need separate accounts for each journal?
No. Our portal uses a centralized OJS account system. Once registered, you can log in with the same username and password across all 11 journals. To submit to another journal, simply enable the Author role in your user profile for that specific journal. - How do I link my ORCID iD?
Go to your User Profile → Public tab, or click the Create or Connect your ORCID iD button during manuscript submission to authenticate your profile.
- Where can I download the article template?
Each journal provides its official Microsoft Word (.docx) template on its respective homepage or Author Guidelines page. Manuscripts must follow the IMRaD structure and APA 7th Edition citation style. - What is the maximum similarity (plagiarism) score?
All submissions are screened using Turnitin/iThenticate before peer review. The maximum tolerated similarity index is 20% (excluding bibliography and properly quoted material).
- Is there a fee to submit a manuscript?
No. All Lembaga KITA journals apply a Zero Submission Fee policy. Authors do not pay any fee during submission or initial editorial evaluation. - When are Article Processing Charges (APC) paid?
An APC is only invoiced after a manuscript has passed double-blind peer review and is formally Accepted for publication. Exact APC rates are listed on each journal's Author Fees page.
- When does my article’s Crossref DOI become active?
Every published article is assigned a unique DOI under prefix10.35870. DOIs are registered with Crossref upon issue publication and typically resolve globally within 24–48 hours. - How can I correct metadata after publication?
Please double-check all author names, affiliations, and references during the Copyediting/Proofreading stage. Post-publication metadata corrections require formal editorial approval in accordance with COPE guidelines.
