Free Submission & Review

This journal operates under a Gold Open Access model. All published articles are immediately free to read and download under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors pay a flat-rate Article Processing Charge (APC) only after the manuscript has passed peer review and is formally accepted.

The APC is a flat fee—there are no extra charges for page count, number of co-authors, or color figures. Ordering a printed copy does not affect the free online version.

Open Access & Archiving Permanent online hosting and digital preservation via LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and PKP-PN.

How Payment Works

4 Simple Steps

Step 1: Acceptance Editor-in-Chief accepts the paper on scientific merit.

Step 2: Invoice Invoice is sent via OJS dashboard and email.

Step 3: Payment Transfer within 10 business days & upload receipt.

Step 4: Production LoA is issued; article proceeds to layout & DOI.

Payments must be made only to the official bank account stated on the invoice. The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued upon acceptance and payment confirmation.

Refunds, Withdrawals & Fee Waivers

Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Because copyediting and production start immediately upon acceptance, paid publication fees are non-refundable. Additionally, to respect the time and effort of our reviewers, withdrawing a manuscript after the peer review process is completed incurs an administrative fee of IDR 100,000 (USD 10). Refunds apply only in the case of a verifiable billing error, such as a duplicate transfer.

Fee Waivers

Authors from low-income countries (World Bank classification) and domestic authors with documented financial hardship may request a partial or full waiver. Submit your waiver request together with an official justification letter from your institution at the time of submission via our Contact Information page.

Payment Never Affects the Editorial Decision Reviewers and handling editors have no access to billing or waiver status. Editorial decisions—including for manuscripts under the Fast-Track option—are based strictly on academic merit, and manuscripts declined by the editor are never charged an APC.
